Our Story
Hi, I'm Hope. The Pastry Chef, designer, and dreamer behind Peace. Love. Cake.
My journey into pastry started with a deep love for the art of baking, which led me to become classically trained in the pastry arts. Over the years, I've continued to refine my craft with specialized training in Switzerland and additional courses in advanced techniques like sugar flowers and bespoke cake design. Every cake I make combines this formal skillset with a personal touch bringing together artistry & flavour.
Peace. Love. Cake. was born in 2022 out of my passion for creating luxury confections that reflect each clients unique story. The vibe of Peace. Love. Cake. draws inspiration from the music of The Beatles & John Lennon, who championed peace, love, and unity, values that deeply resonate with me and this company. Here at Peace. Love. Cake., I am proud to offer services to clients of all backgrounds, faiths, identites, and love stories. Every creation is made with respect, joy, and a belief that everyone deserves something beautiful to celebrate special moments.
In 2024, I brought Peace. Love. Cake. to Ottawa, where I've been lucky to meet and create for so many wonderful clients. Though I currently run my bakery as an online-based studio, my dream is to one day open a warm, welcoming space where the community can gather, celebrate, and enjoy some sweet treats!
