Terms & Conditions

1. Order Confirmation
Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Your order date is not secured until payment has been completed in full.
2. Payment
A full invoice will be issued via Square, where multiple forms of payment are accepted. Full payment is required to confirm your order.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 10 days before your scheduled pick up or delivery date will receive a partial to full refund, depending on the stage of preparation. Cancellations made within 10 days will forfeit any refund, as ingredients and preparation will have already commenced.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Date changes requested more than 6 days before your scheduled pick up or delivery date will be accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 6 days of your scheduled date will incur a rescheduling fee. An invoice will be issued for any applicable fees.
5. Design Changes
Minor design changes may be requested up to 7 days before your pick up or delivery date. Significant design changes may not be accommodated within this window and are subject to additional fees.
6. Cake Design & Originality
Every Peace. Love. Cake. creation is entirely unique and handcrafted with individual artistry. Whilst inspiration images are warmly welcomed as a way to communicate design elements, colours, or styles, Peace. Love. Cake. does not duplicate or replicate the work of other artists or cake designers. Each cake is an original creation, and as such, minor variations from inspiration images are to be expected and celebrated as part of the handcrafted process.
7. Allergens
Peace. Love. Cake. operates in an allergen-aware kitchen environment. Nuts, gluten, and dairy are present in our kitchen. When an allergy is communicated, every precaution is taken to reduce the risk of cross contamination — however a risk still remains. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
8. Collection & Delivery
Pick up is available from Riverside South, Ottawa — address details will be provided upon confirmation. Delivery within Riverside South is complimentary. Delivery beyond Riverside South starts at $50.00, with the final fee calculated based on distance and travel time.
Peace. Love. Cake. delivers the cake to your specified address. Once the cake has been delivered, responsibility transfers to the client. Peace. Love. Cake. is not liable for any damage that occurs after delivery.
For orders requiring set up, cake stand rentals, or additional logistical support, please book a consultation where these details can be discussed and arranged.
9. Force Majeure
Peace. Love. Cake. will always make every effort to fulfil your order. However, in the rare event that an order cannot be completed due to circumstances entirely beyond our control — such as illness, family emergency, or extreme weather — you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
10. Photography
Peace. Love. Cake. reserves the right to photograph all creations for portfolio and marketing purposes.
